 What our Governors do

Our Governing Board plays a vital role in supporting and challenging the school to be the very best it can be. As part of the wider Trust, Governors focus on the needs of our students, staff and wider community ensuring that decisions are made in the best interests of children's education.

Local Governors:

• Champion students and families - keeping the needs of children at the heart of every discussion.
• Support and challenge school leaders - helping the school to achieve high standards in learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
• Safeguard the school's ethos and values - making sure the school reflects and serves it community.
• Act as a link to the Trust Board - ensuring local voices and priorities are heard within the wider Trust.

In short, our Governors are dedicated volunteers who bring their skills, experience and knowledge to strengthen the work of the school and ensure every child can thrive.
